Sales Reporting

Margin Reporting

  • Calculate margins by SKU, product category, sales rep, or customer. Go beyond calculating gross profit to calculating Contribution Margin for a true view of your profitability all the way down to the SKU level.
  • Pull over your shipping fees from ShipStation or StarshipIt to calculate how much it's costing you to ship your orders.
  • Pull over your channel marketplace fees from Amazon SellerCentral or Shopify to find out how much it's costing you to sell on each platform.
  • Pull in variable expenses from your accounting system as such QuickBooks Online or Xero and add those to your margin calculations as well.
  • Calculate projected COGS before orders have been completed. By default, Katana will only show you COGS on completed orders. You can customize the COGS calculation in Easy Insight to use average cost on those pending orders, or pull from your own spreadsheet of COGS if necessary.
