Sales Reporting

Margin Reporting

  • Calculate margins by SKU, product category, sales rep, or customer. Go beyond calculating gross profit to calculating Contribution Margin for a true view of your profitability all the way down to the SKU level.
  • Pull over your shipping fees from ShipStation or StarshipIt to calculate how much it's costing you to ship your orders.
  • Pull over your channel marketplace fees from Amazon SellerCentral or Shopify to find out how much it's costing you to sell on each platform.
  • Pull in variable expenses from your accounting system as such QuickBooks Online or Xero and add those to your margin calculations as well.
  • Calculate projected COGS before orders have been completed. By default, Cin7 Core will only show you COGS on completed orders. You can customize the COGS calculation in Easy Insight to use average cost on those pending orders, or pull from your own spreadsheet of COGS if necessary.

Product Reporting

Customer Reporting

  • Look at key customer KPIs like churn rate, repeat customer %, new customer acquision rate, customer acquisition cost, and more.
  • Identify which products are best at acquiring high value new customers.
  • Track B2B customer activity per sales rep to identify customer activity across different time ranges.
  • Identify lost customers and see if you can do anything to bring them back to your business.
  • Track customers who haven't made an order in their normal order interval and get them back on track before they become lost customers.

Forecasting

  • Report on sales velocity to help calculate projected inventory demand. Forecasts include assembly material calculations to help you understand requirements of components for finished products.
  • Look at products by projected out of stock date and suggested reorder date by supplier to help quickly identify what you need to reorder.

Data Validation

  • Make sure your SKUs and their prices match with your e-commerce integrations. You can create validation reports showing any price differences between sales channels and Cin7 Core.
  • Ensure your orders from e-commerce integrations are coming into Cin7 Core. You can connect Easy Insight to your SellerCentral, Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Etsy, and other channels, then validate that no orders are being dropped.
